TRANSPORTATION TO/FROM BOSTON AIRPORT

1. Rent a car
Car costs range from $31 (economy) to $48 (full size) per day plus taxes.
*Parking is free at the hotel for AGELE Conference attendees.
Distance to hotel is 15.6 miles

  1. Start out going EAST on I-90 E / MASS PIKE/ MASSACHUSETTS TURNPIKE toward TERMINAL C.
  2. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto MA-1A / WILLIAM F MCCLELLAN HWY / EAST BOSTON EXPY.  Continue to follow MA–1A N.
  3. Turn SLIGHT LEFT onto MA–60 W.
  4. MA-60 W becomes AMERICAN LEGION HWY / MA-60 W.
  5. Enter next roundabout and take 1st exit onto SQUIRE RD / MA-60 W.
  6. Enter next roundabout and take 1st exit onto US-1 N.
  7. Merge onto I-95 N / MA-128 N via the exit on the LEFT toward PEABODY / GLOUCESTER.
  8. Keep LEFT to MA-128 N via EXIT 45 toward GLOUCESTER.
  9. Take the CENTENNIAL DR exit – EXIT 28 – toward SUMMIT ST.
  10. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto CENTENNIAL DR.
  11. End at Marriott-Boston Peabody: 8 Centennial Dr # A, Peabody, MA 01960, US

2.  Cab
Can be very expensive; approximately $50 - $60 one way. Sharing a cab with others can cut the cost per person. Cabs are readily available just outside of baggage claim with no advance reservation. The hotel can arrange for your cab back to the airport.
*If you take a cab, be sure to take the Map Quest Directions (above) with you and give them to your cab driver.  Many cab drivers get lost if you do not give them the specific directions (mine did).

3. Van Service
If several of you are arriving or departing around the same time, van service is a great option. Call the van company 2 – 3 weeks in advance to reserve a van from the airport to the hotel. When it is time to return to the airport, the hotel can and will arrange van service if given advance notice – consult the hotel for the amount of lead time requested. Cost for a van for up to 6 people is a flat rate of $100 plus $20 gratuity each way.  Example: 5 people = $24 each.
